Synopsis
There's only
one thing in life Lucien Knight really hates, and that's husbands who cheat on
their wives.
There's only one problem in Sophie Black's life. Her cheating
husband...From the moment Lucien & Sophie meet, the seal is set.
Romantic, emotional & intensely erotic, Knight and Play
is the perfect read for lovers of international bestsellers Fifty Shades &
Bared To You. Let yourself be swept away by Part One of the Knight series from
Kitty French, a romance so hot it'll burn your fingers...
CEO of Knight Inc. Lucien Knight is catch-your-breath
gorgeous and damaged by his troubled past in Norway. All grown up and relocated
to London, he's built his empire of adult clubs from the ground up to become
the gorgeous patron saint of the sex industry. No one knows the dark childhood
secrets that have given Lucien a backbone of steel and a heart encased in ice.
No one until Sophie Black, that is...
From the moment girl-next-door Sophie accepts the job as
Lucien Knight's PA, she understands how Alice must have felt when she tumbled
down the rabbit hole. Lucien takes her safe, vanilla life away and plunges her
head first into a huge dish of fantasy flavours. Rich, spicy chocolate covered
with dark, oozingly lickable sauce? Check. Tutti-frutti with indecently red,
glistening cherries on the top? Yes please.
Lucien strips away all of Sophie's inhibitions, and when he
instructs her to select three new toys, she soon realises he has more than a game
of Monopoly on his mind...
He's opened the door to a whole new pleasure packed world
without limits, and Sophie is utterly intoxicated. But how far is she willing
to go? And what happens when she has to step back into reality again.
Lucien & Sophie's is a story of star crossed love and
forbidden passion, a sexual odyssey that spans the globe and changes both of
their lives forever. Let it change yours, too.
Review
Seriously?! My heart is all over the
place... ( Crazy reviewer taking control )
This book led me, in so many paths, my
heart is still bouncing and not knowing what to feel.
Lucien Knight is
not or average sex God, working in the sex industry this man is as
sexy as an INFERNO. My God after reading it I seriously needed
a cold shower or maybe a thousand ones. He makes everything SEXUAL I can’t even
say sexy, because that would be an understatement, after receiving Mrs.
Black CV, he´s surprised and sets an interview.
The interview revealed a woman
seemingly shy and not able to see the power of seduction on her. Coming
from a damaged past, where his father betrayed is a mother and led her to
suicide, and after unveiling that Sophie´s husband was doing the same, Lucien sets a
goal: make this woman has powerful as she is and give her a week to discover
that she can do everything she sets on her mind, she just needs to let go
and leave the "little mouse" behind.
Sophie is as bored with her life as you can possibly get,
her husband is not the same man she married, her job is boring and
her boss an asshole. She sets her mind on a job at Knight Enterprises, the only
thing she didn´t expect was to completely give in to the sexy man
that comes before her.
She sees herself realizing that there´s
more to life, and after a few hours working with Lucien, there´s a new
person wanting to come out. And the fact is that she loves that
person. She starts risking more after realizing that her suspicions
were right about her husband’s affair.
After that comes the most
intense week I ever read in a book.
Lucien is not kinky, besides the sex toys
his pretty vanilla, but that doesn´t matter girls because
this man can make everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) SEXY (SEXUAL). I hate peaches, but after that scene OH
GOD I
was wishing for a peach lol that´s just stupid but it was exactly what
happened. That was the most erotic scene I
read in a few weeks and involved a fruit :P
That scene was just yummy.
And being able to see things from
Lucien´s POV was amazing. We got inside his past, and we were able to see the
demons that keep hunting him after years. The scene in the office :O AMAZING, that was the first time Lucien´s demeanor came out,
and Sophie got the chance to prove her suspicions that this man was
more than what met the eye.
I was expecting a cliffhanger but not the MOTHER of cliffhangers :D That was just delicious.
( WARNING: If you don’t like cliffhangers don’t read the book, but be aware
that you would be missing a hell of a story)
After the thing ( I´m not going to spoil :P ), that he leaves
on her bag, Sophie´s is more confused than ever.
Overall this book was AMAZING. The characters were well constructed, the
plot is superb, the smexy ( Introducting a new word people ) sex scenes :O, give me more of those, the demons, the
betrayal, everything was just amazingly connected.
I loved loved loved the list, I hope he has a few things to sum :P This
guy is just SEXUAL, and even do vanilla I just want to keep him to
myself :D
Some of the sexy things that came out of his HOT mouth :D
"You have no idea how many ways I'm going to make
you come."
I want that ;D
" Is this where you tell me you're a crack
hot chef?"
"No. This is the point where I offer to serve you
sushi off my navel."
Oh I would love to eat from his navel, and
some other parts of his body :D ( Too much information I know, but if
you read this book you will feel the same way )
"He sighed and shook his head. "I figured I
could screw you happy, I guess."
After telling her that he would make her
come in many different ways, this is the icing on the cake, he did
screw her happy :P She could share, don't you think?
“You’re like a peach waiting to be plucked from the tree.”
Oh the damn peach :O
“We’re not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy.”
Sure you´re not, you´re in
his club about to become a very happy woman ;D
“Flying makes me horny.”
I just laughed like a crazy school girl
with this one :D
And the most romantic of all:
“P…she shuddered
R…she arched
I…she moaned
N…she gasped his name
C…”Lucien…”
E…she came
S…and came
S…and she came.”
See you next week ;)
